I have been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 2010, graduating from University of Kentucky with my BSN in 1997, and graduating with my MSN in 2009 from University of Cincinnati. I started my nursing career at St. Joseph Medical Center in 1997, working in Labor and Delivery unit. From 1997-2010 I worked as a Labor and Delivery/Postpartum/Nursery RN. I wanted to specialize more in Women’s Health care so it was then I decided to pursue my Master’s degree in Nursing with the goal of becoming and WHNP. I have worked in the women’s health field all of my 20 years as a nurse!
I am married to Greg Boitnott for 21 years. Greg and I met in junior high school and the rest is history! We have three daughters- Emma, Ellie and Carlie who keep me very busy. I love traveling, running, watching sports, reading books and cooking! I also have two West Highland Terrier dogs- Zoey and Ozzie.

Scope Of Practice:
- Adolescent health
- pre-conception counseling
- Contraception counseling (highly skilled in placing IUD’s, Nexplanon devices)
- STI testing and education
- peri-menopausal and menopause education and treatment
- breast care (education on breast health, ordering testing and interpreting findings)
- pre-natal care and management of high risk OB patients in conjunction with Dr. Santiago
- Infertility counseling/testing and basic treatment management
- Annual women’s health exams and gynecological problem visits
- My interest is to be more involved in research studies to improve health care for my patients and the practice. I have joined the AANP Network for Research, which is a practice-based research network that provides NPs with the opportunity to participate in research relevant to NPs and their patients
